Education Services has served as the Official Custodian of Academic and Institutional Records for Pacific Western University – Louisiana and Pacific Western University – Hawaii since June 2006.
In January 2007 Education Services was asked to administer the Official Academic and Institutional Records of Pacific Western University – California after the assets of Pacific Western University – California were sold and California Miramar University (CMU) completed the implementation and transition of all the academic programs and academic standards to the new University. The purchasing university, CMU, went on to achieve two national accreditations.

Education Services is the only source of academic and administrative information for the three separate Pacific Western University programs. As the Custodian of Academic and Institutional Records, university alumni, employers and national and international government agencies can verify and receive academic information and documents through Education Services. To obtain this educational information, Students/Alumni need to verify their identity before information can be released. Due to U.S. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) laws all others seeking academic information on students/alumni must have a written release form signed by the student/alumni authorizing Education Services to release specific student information to the requesting party. Education Services can be required to release official education records without student permission by Court order of Local, State or Federal Courts and law enforcement agencies.
By rule of CMU’s accrediting bodies no Pacific Western University – California graduates are eligible to be issued transcripts or diplomas from the accredited university. This restriction includes all graduates of Pacific Western University – Louisiana and Pacific Western University – Hawaii. All three Pacific Western Universities had different curriculum’s and academic standards that those of CMU’s accredited degree programs and the accreditation bodies, therefore, require that all Pacific Western University academic records be kept separate.
All three Pacific Western University schools, although sharing common ownership until 2004, were separate Universities and separate legal entities. They operated under different state laws that had quite different rules and educational standards.
Alumni from all three Pacific Western Universities may obtain official documents such as transcripts, duplicate diplomas and degree verifications from Education Services. Please click on the navigational links at the top of the page to read about each of the services provided.
